TWICE is the design for a lamp that combines a minimalist aesthetic with a clear function. the core of the design is an illusion. the separately switchable halves of the spherical bulb are cut at the equator by a mirror surface, and depending on the angle the lamp is looked upon, there is the illusion of the entire sphere being lighted up. despite this illusion, only one half of the sphere shines and by the separating mirror surface the light is directed upwards or downwards. So TWICE offers a reading light or a room light.
