BLOVA
glass object / vase
BLOVA is a sculptural object made of mouthblown glass. by combining two classic glassblowing techniques - free blowing and mold blowing - the creative potential of the material were explored extensively. the contrast between organic interior and cylindrical exterior gives the design a strong aesthetic tension. the inner part of each object is unique, but the outer shell is always the same. the functionality is consciously chosen openly. BLOVA can be vase, bowl, container or simply sculpture.
BLOVA was designed together with kerstin froch and michael grandt.
